LSU Stays In Top 5 Of Latest AP Poll
The LSU Tigers, following their fifth-consecutive win over the weekend, stays put in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll, which was released on Sunday.
LSU remains at number five this week, following their 42-6 non-conference victory over the Utah St. Aggies last Saturday.
The Tigers, who are now 5-0 on the season, return to action on Saturday, when they host the 7th-ranked Florida Gators in an SEC affair.
The top five remains the same this week, with the exception of Ohio St. moving up into a third-place tie with Georgia.
Alabama and Clemson, who were both idle last week, remain the top two teams this week.
Georgia, who defeated Tennessee, 43-14, is tied for third this week, along with Ohio St. who beat Michigan St., 34-10, with LSU fifth.
Oklahoma, Florida, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, and Penn St. are ranked 6-10, respectively.
