Hundreds Gather As Mayci Breaux Laid To Rest In Her Hometown Of Franklin [VIDEO]
Mayci Breaux, one of two victims killed in the tragic shooting at the Grand Theatre, was laid to rest in her hometown of Franklin, LA.
Our media partner, KATC, was on hand at the Roman Catholic of the Assumption Church in Franklin as a reported 500 people gathered to remember the 21-year-old who lost her life far too soon.
Breaux was a student at LSU-E where she studied to be an ultrasound and radiology tech. She loved her family and was adored by all of her friends who described her as "outgoing." Her boyfriend was one of the other victims who were shot and injured in Thursday's theater shooting, but was released from the hospital in time to attend her funeral.
The family is asking those wishing to make memorial contributions in Mayci's name are asked to donate to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, New Orleans Chapter.
