“The Lafayette Food Junkie Show,” which airs from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday nights here on Newstalk 96.5 FM KPEL, gives Lafayette and the Acadiana area its own show dedicated to the food we all love to enjoy and talk about!

On Sunday’s show, Tiffiany Decou, “The Lafayette Food Junkie,” and Chef Zach Doise with “LaStreat” food truck spoke with Chef Jeremy Connor of ViLLage Cafe and Pour. Chef Connor is a farm-to-table chef who was instrumental in starting the Pig and Plough Supper Series. He will be cooking at Lafayette's first ever Second Harvest meal, which has been happening in New Orleans for many years.
Chef Connor answered questions about the changing culinary scene in Lafayette, him training in Birmingham, Alabama under well-known Chef Chris Hastings and his uneasiness about being called a "celebrity chef," as well as his appreciation for local farmers and what they do.
