Midland Man Bust In Meth Case

The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office arrested a Midland man after they say the man was in possession of Methamphetamine and scales.

Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson says the case unfolded after a search warrant was issued on the premises of a home in the 100 block of West Calcasieu.W

Deputies say the were able to recover 29 grams of meth along with a scale in a car that was found on that property.

They later found another 29 grams of meth on the property along with plastic bags and other scales.

Gibson says 30-year-old Trinity Slade Miller was charged with Possession With the Intent To Distribute Schedule II Narcotics and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Officials believe Miller was distributing the drugs.
