Missing Child From Evangeline Parish Found Safe

Good news out of Evangeline Parish as the missing nine-year-old boy has been found safe.

A spokesman for the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office confirmed that Bryson Thibodeaux was found shortly before 2 am and is now receiving medical attention.

According to America's Cajun Navy, the child was hiding under the house. When everyone went look for him, he went back into the home and hid under a bed in the back bedroom where he would later be found.

The child had been missing since Friday at noon, when he left his home on Chataignier Road in the Point Blue/Chataignier area.
