Lafayette Woman Sits With Morgan Freeman at Local Restaurant, Reveals Special Message He Shared With Her
Morgan Freeman continues his local dining tour, and this time around, a fan was able to share a special moment with the legendary actor.
Freeman and his team are in Lafayette to film the upcoming project '57 Seconds.' Crew members, actors, and Freeman himself have been spotted a few times since they started on production a little over a week ago.
Pimon Thai is just one of the local spots where the 'Glory' actor has been photographed but a fan recently shared a personal story about her encounter with Freeman along with a very special message that anyone can apply to their daily lives.
A woman who goes by the name Juleia M. on the Nextdoor app shared her experience after meeting Freeman at Tabouleh Lebanese Cuisine, an authentic Lebanese restaurant located off of Ambassador Caffery.
Julia said that Freeman didn't mind having his photo taken, and even invited her to sit with him. After exchanging small talk about where they were from, Juleia said it was clear that Freeman (born in Mississippi) "still believes in old school values and ways."
After chatting and laughing for a while, Freeman left Juleia with the message to always be herself and "never change for anybody." While that may seem like a pretty common life lesson, I can only imagine the impact those words had spoken from the mouth—not to mention the iconic voice—of Morgan Freeman.
Tabouleh Lebanese Cuisine shared more photos of the encounter on their page where you could see the joy being shared by everyone enjoying a meal together.
I can only hope that every experience for Freeman and the '57 Seconds' crew is like this or better. Based on what I know about the people of Lafayette, LA, I have no doubt that it will be.
My only question is when will we see him spotted at a local restaurant with Cajun/Creole cuisine?
Until then, Morgan Freeman watch continues in Lafayette.
