We told you about the open casting call that was held in Baton Rouge for the Tom Hanks starring movie Greyhound. $29.5 million of the film's budget will be spent in Louisiana.
Channing Tatum has been attached to star in this X-Men spinoff for quite some time. the character is from New Orleans, so it makes sense that they would film there. The budget for the film was slated for $155 million back in 2015. So, a big chunk of that is bound to be spent here in Louisiana.
NCIS: New Orleans (Season 4)
Scott Bakula leads the cast going on its fourth season of NCIS: New Orleans. As far as budget, season three's budget was $96 million, with $40.3 million of that going to in-state payroll. You can expect around the same for season four.
While this movie doesn't show up on IMDb, it is said to be about the men who tracked down and killed Bonnie and Clyde. Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson are set to star in the film. For those who aren't aware, Bonnie and Clyde were killed in Louisiana. So, once again it makes sense that at least part of this movie would be filmed in Louisiana. An estimated $34.8 million of the budget will be spent in Louisiana.
Preacher (Season 3)
The comic-based TV series Preacher will be in its third season, and as the other two seasons were filmed in Louisiana, so will be this upcoming season. An estimated $50 million of season three's budget will be spent in Louisiana.
The Dirt will be the story of Motley Crue, based on the book of the same name. The actors playing the band members were just announced. The budget hasn't been announced, but the movie is slated to start shooting in New Orleans in late February.

In Sean Penn's first television series, the Hulu show will be based in the near future and will follow the first manned mission to Mars.
The series has been filming since October and is expected to last through March, with a release date sometime this year. $39.1 million of the series budget is expected to be spent in Louisiana.
