New Name Coming for New Orleans Arena?
The New Orleans Arena, the home of Hornets, might be in line for a new name soon. The Louisiana Seafood promotion and Marketing Board might be using some of the $30 million given by BP to buy naming rights for the arena.
The deal will include putting Louisiana seafood vendors in many different arenas around the US for Basketball games.
The deal is currently in the works and executive director Ewell Smith is awaiting more information. Smith says that this deal will continue the campaign to restore confidence in Louisiana Seafood.
