IberiaBank, one of the Project Yard partners, along with City Parish President Joey Durel's Office, are announcing it's time for nominations for the Second Annual Project Front Yard Awards

A person or business can win in one of four categories:

  • Best in Cleanliness
  • Best in Beautification
  • Best in Education
  • Overall Best Project Front Yard Effort

City Parish President Joey Durel says the success of the program is because of the entire community along with media partners who are working to make a cultural change in the way we think about our community.

Durel says,

“It’s only with the entire community working for a common goal, that Project Front Yard is the success it is. We know there are people rolling up their sleeves to do the work. They are serving as an inspiration to others and sharing the message that it’s up to us to make a change as a community. They deserve the recognition for the difference they are making in the community.”

An awards ceremony, hosted by IberiaBank, will be held on September 30.

IberiaBank Acadiana PresidentJerry Vascocu says,

“We are pleased to once again be a partner with the Project Front Yard initiative and the awards event which celebrates those in our community who are doing the right thing to create a beautiful Lafayette."
