While on'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' today for 'Firearms Friday' Glenn Fleming stressed safety in the simplest of terms and also discussed the Second Amendment, a new law passed in Missouri and a 3D printed handgun.

According to Fleming,

Believe it or not dirt daubers cause many firearm malfunctions and damage.  People will leave their guns in their closets for a while and not think about them until hunting season and the dirt daubers will get in there and do what they do.  They'll go out to hunt and 'boom' and then they'll bring the gun to us with a blown up barrel.

In regards to House Bill 277 in the Louisiana Legislature Fleming said,

If you're an NFA (National Firearm Act) guy or a firearms dealer you want this to pass.  Louisiana is one of the few states in the country where you have to fill out additional paperwork when you're doing an NFA transfer.  That slows down an NFA transfer from six months to a year.  Which means it's a year before you can get your suppressor, machine gun or short barrel rifle once the Feds approve it you have to wait for the state to approve your purchase.  HB277 would get rid of that state requirement and speed up the process immeasurably.

The Missouri Legislature recently passed a bill with far reaching implications. According to Fleming,

Basically the Missouri Legislature passed with a veto-proof majority a law that will nullify any future or present firearm laws passed by the Federal government.  Basically the gun control acts of  1934 and 1968 are null and void...this has huge implications.

Fleming when on to discuss the implications of the Missouri law and the U.S. State Department ordering a Texas based company to remove from the internet, plans to print plastic guns with a 3D printer.  You can hear those comments and more by listening to the interview:
