One Easy Way to Keep Your Trick-Or-Treaters Safe Halloween Night
It's so simple and will even add to your kid's costume!
In case you haven't noticed, it gets dark fast these days. Last night I could have sworn that it was nine or 10 at night, but it was actually 7:30. SEVEN THIRTY. Needless to say, it's going to be dark on Halloween when the trick-or-treating really gets going. Now, if you've been out on Halloween night, you know it can be a little chaotic with a mob of kids making their way up and down the street. I've spent many holidays white-knuckle driving through the neighborhood with the night closing in.
Here's a simple way to make sure your kids are seen on Halloween night.
I saw this online and thought it was genius. Just pick up a pack of glow sticks at the dollar store and you're good to go! Hang some on your kid's buckets or treat bags and on their costumes. I like the idea of the glow bracelets and necklaces as the glow sticks become a really cool part of your kid's spooky look.
These are also a good item to hand out to trick-or-treaters ringing your doorbell. I can already see kids tearing into those packages anxious to get their glow on! What kid wouldn't be stoked to get these among all of their spooky treasures?
Here's to a safe and fun Halloween!
