Today Chef Patrick Mould joined 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' for another edition of the NewsJunkie Cafe with a report on his recent appearance at the Apollo Theater in New York City.  He also previewed his next appearance at the Delcambre Seafood and Farmers Market.

Mould recently returned from cooking for a reception at the Apollo Theater in New York for a performance of 'James Brown, On the Good Foot. Even though he's traveled to New York City on a number of occasions Chef Mould said,

This was my first visit to the Apollo Theater where James Brown made his bones and it was my first trip to Harlem.  It was pretty amazing with so much history there.

Tomorrow Chef Mould says he will make a cooking appearance closer to home.

The Delcambre Seafood and Farmer's Market will be open from 8:00am until 1:00pm tomorrow and I'll be doing a series of cooking demonstrations.  I'm the executive chef for the Best Life Iberia Initiative in Iberia Parish...What I've decided to do for this demo is to do light, healthy Thanksgiving sides.

We asked for some examples of what he would be demonstrating and Chef Mould said,

I'm going to focus on Louisiana citrus in the process because citrus like satsuma and oranges are starting to come in.  We'll be doing a cranberry, Louisiana satsuma compote which is something you would serve alongside your turkey instead of canned cranberry sauce.

Chef Mould will be conducting those cooking demonstrations at 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30am at the Delcambre Seafood and Farmers Market in Delcambre just off LA 14 tomorrow.
