Patterson Woman Arrested On Cocaine Charges

A traffic stop turns into a drug bust.

John Sonnier with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office says Anna Reed of Patterson was stopped for an improperly displayed license plate Saturday night in the Amelia area. Authorities learned she had warrants out for her arrest and arrested her on Distribution of Cocaine charges.

She's been turned over to the Morgan City Police Department.
