Lafayette Police have made 3 arrests in connection with the October 28, 2010, McKinley Street Homicide.

After receiving new information on January 19, 2011, investigators were able to arrest Ian Trahan (21) of Youngsville and Wayland Guillory (23) of Lafayette, charging both men with 1st Degree Murder and Attempted 1st Degree Murder. Cody Moore (21) of New Iberia was charged with Accessory After the Fact to 1st Degree Murder and Accessory After the Fact to Attempted 1st Degree Murder. Lafayette Police investigators credit the assistance of the Metro Narcotics, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Police Department and Lafayette Parish Sheriffs Office in developing the suspects during the investigation. The case remains under investigation. On the afternoon of Thursday October 28, 2010 2:07 PM, officers with the Lafayette Police Department were dispatched to the 300 block of McKinley Street concerning suspicious circumstances. Upon arriving on scene, officers located two victims inside of the residence. One of the victims was deceased; the second victim was transported to an area hospital with critical injuries. The injuries to the victims appear to have been caused as a result of a physical attack. Both victims are described as being white males in their 20's. A third person on scene discovered the victims and contacted 911.
