It was another great episode of "The Lafayette Food Junkie Show" with Tiffiany Decou. Chef Colt Patin was last Sunday's guest co-host. The two previewed the upcoming Festival Acadian et Creole and discussed exposing children to new foods.

Chef Colt Patin is an instructor at Louisiana Culinary Insitute, a 2011 Louisiana Chef to Watch, and has cooked for both Anthony Bourdain and Andrew Zimmern.

Chef Patin has an upcoming cookbook and seasoning blend called "Cajun mais-palm" in the works. Both will be available at his various cooking events around the state.

They discussed exposing children to new foods through nicer dining establishments, with Tiffiany recounting her latest dining adventure to Social Southern with a 7-year-old.

They also talked about the upcoming Festival Acadian et Creole events where Chef Colt will teach different educational classes on the difference between Cajun and Creole cuisine.
