David Price pitched a complete game and Evan Longoria hit a two run homer to lead the Tampa Bay Rays over the Texas Rangers in a wild card tiebreaker in Arlington Monday night.

The reigning Cy Young Award winner scattered seven hits and struck out four in his complete game win.  It was the fourth complete game of the season for Price (10-8)

The victory sends Tampa Bay to Cleveland for a wild card playoff game against the Indians on Wednesday.  The winner faces Boston in the American League Division Series beginning Friday.

Longoria's two run homer came off Martin Perez (10-6) in the third inning which staked the Rays to a 3-0 lead.  That was all Price would need as the threw 118 pitches in his performance that snapped the Rangers' seven game winning streak.
