Do you know a young athlete looking to learn? The Ragin' Cajuns are offering summer camps for young softball and volleyball players, so sign up now.

Everybody knows the Ragin' Cajuns are one of the best softball teams in the country, and every year Michael Lotief gives young women a chance to impress the coaching staff. High school players, along with junior college athletes, have a chance to show off their stuff the next two months, so mark down your calendars if you want a shot.

Each camp will cost $100 the morning of the camp, so you can pick a date that works well for your own time.

2016 RAGIN' CAJUNS SOFTBALL PROSPECT CAMPS
Camp 1: Tuesday, July 12 | 9 a.m.- 4p.m.
Camp 2: Wednesday, July 13 | 9 a.m.- 4p.m.
Camp 3: Tuesday, August 9 | 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Camp 4: Wednesday, August 10 | 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.

These camps provide young players a serious opportunity to learn, on top of the obvious opportunity to get noticed by one of the best softball coaches in the country.

Coach Mike finds a lot of talent through these camps. Who knows, maybe your daughter could be the next Lexie Elkins.

Ragin' Cajuns Volleyball is also offering summer camp in July, but their format is a little different.

Head Coach Heather Mazeitis-Fontenot and her staff are offering two different camps for high school athletes: one is an Elite Skills camp (focused on technique and tactical aspects of volleyball), and the other camp is designed for team competition (minimum six players, maximum of 12).

The Elite Skills Camp costs $400 if they stay overnight and $300 if they commute to camp, but it offers young volleyball players a chance to hone their skills with an experienced, collegiate coaching staff. Here is the complete schedule for the Elite Skills Camp.
