Sammy Kershaw's birthday was Friday, and the music performer dropped by to talk about his upcoming concert.

Kershaw stopped by just when Bernadette Lee was discussing a story where one strip club was suing another.  Here is the story from MetroSource News:

A couple of Kentucky strip clubs are going after each other over claims about ugly dancers.  According to the "Courier Journal," the Godfather club is suing Trixie's Lounge over claims Trixie's ran "negative and derogatory comments" in ads about its girls.  The ads ran recently during the National Farm Machinery Show and the Godfather claims it was an attempt to hurt business.  The two are less than a mile apart from each other and sit just outside of the Louisville International Airport.

Kershaw then told us about his upcoming concert with Aaron Tippin and Joe Diffie.  97.3 The Dawg and Hampton Toyota present the Roots & Boots Tour featuring Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin and Joe Diffie. The show is Thursday, April 19th at Parc International in downtown Lafayette.

Tickets will be $20 in advance and available soon at 973thedawg.com and of course we’ve got the free ones too.

Kershaw commented on music, politics and explains Boobie LaRoux,:
