Louisiana, Appalachian State, Arkansas State and ULM all notched conference victories Saturday, while Texas State made it two wins in a row.  Here's a recap.

ARKANSAS STATE 50, TROY 43--Their starting quarterback is out for the year and their top two running backs didn't play, but Arkansas State won a shootout at Troy, 50-43.  Omar Bayless led three receivers with 100 or more yards, compiling 213 yards, including a 92 yard reception from Layne Hatcher, who threw for 440 yards and four touchdowns.

LOUISIANA 37, GEORGIA SOUTHERN 24--Trey Ragas and Elijah Mitchell each scored a pair of touchdowns as the Cajuns won their fourth straight game.  Louisiana's defense held the Eagles to just 90 yards of offense in the first half.  The Cajuns outrushed the option attack of Georgia Southern and the Eagles are now 0-18 in the FBS era when being outrushed.

APPALACHIAN STATE--Zac Thomas threw for 246 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead App State to their win.  Thomas hit 19-23 passes in the contest and the rushing game accounted for five touchdowns.  Coastal cut the App lead to 32-20 but threw a pick six to effectively end their chances.  The game was delayed in the first quarter for over two hours by lightning.

ULM 30, SOUTH ALABAMA 17--Caleb Adams threw for 286 yards and three touchdowns to lead ULM in their conference opener.  ULM led 17-10 going into the fourth, but Evans led two fourth quarter drives to give the Warhawks some breathing room.  Tra Minter had 150 yards on the ground for the Jags.

TEXAS STATE 24, NICHOLLS 3--The Bobcats have won back to back home games for the first time in six years after scoring 21 unanswered points in the second half.  Gresch Jensen threw for 253 yards and two touchdowns and scored another on the ground for the Bobcats.
