Save A Life With The Reason For The Season Drive

United Blood Services 'The Reason for the Season Blood Drive' is underway and Anne Laughlin and Ryan LeBlanc visited 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' to encourage participation.

We noted that with the Christmas season most people are pressed for time and may use that as an excuse not to donate blood and Laughlin said,

The idea of stopping for 30 minutes to donate blood seems like a big deal but we want to communicate that the 30 minutes you take out of your schedule could save 3 lives.

As an incentive to donate all donors are eligible for great prizes.  LeBlanc said,

One lucky donor each day will win a $500 VISA gift card.  We have 10 of them so it's a good incentive with Christmas just around the corner.  Each donor will also leave with a UL Ragin Cajun Red  Geaux Cajuns Tee shirt or a White Geaux Cajuns tee shirt while supplies last.
