Scott Man Accused Of Molesting Children Related To Him

A local man has been arrested for allegedly molesting boys that were related to him.

Captain Kip Judice with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office says a guardian of the children reported the alleged acts to them. Investigators say evidence shows that inappropriate behavior happened between 40-year-old Chad Morgan of Scott and the three children in Lafayette Parish from January 2012 through April 2012 . Investigators are also analyzing computer equipment belonging to Morgan. The children range in age from 8- to 14- years old.

Morgan has been booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on three counts of molestation of a juvenile and is being held in lieu of a $60,000.00 bond, as the investigation continues.
