Sean Payton To Do TV Work For The Playoffs

With the Saints season ending far sooner than he had hoped, head coach Sean Payton will remain close to the game this weekend, but on the TV side of things.

The College Football National Championship game is Monday night in New Orleans, resulting in tons of TV crews being in NOLA for coverage of the game.

As a result, ESPN's NFL Countdown show will air from Jax Brewery in the French Quarter.

I wouldn't describe Payton as charismatic when talking to the local media. I'm interested to see how he does in a true analyst role.

Like him, I wish he was preparing for a game Sunday, rather than talking about one.
