Louisiana authorities are still looking for a woman who escaped Tuesday from the Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women.  Authorities say 33-year-old Keana Barnes escaped about 1 a.m. Tuesday.

Barnes was serving a 25-year sentence for manslaughter. She had been an inmate and in custody since May of 2004.

Corrections officials say they are still working to determine how Barnes was able to escape from the facility.

Police describe Barnes as being about five feet, four inches tall.  She weighs about 140 pounds. Barnes has dark brown eyes and brown hair.
