A former Louisiana Ragin' Cajun defensive back continues his quest to make a 53-man NFL roster.

Cornerback Simeon Thomas, who played in three games for Louisiana in 2013, before becoming a fixture in the secondary in both 2016 and 2017, signed with the practice squad of the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

A native of Miami, Florida, Thomas was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the 6th-round of the 2018 NFL Draft, before released on September 1.

The 6-foot-3, 197-pound Thomas was first signed by the Seahawks to their practice squad on September 8 of last year, before being released on December 6.

The 25-year old Thomas, who was waived by Seattle on Saturday, signed a reserve/future contract with the Seahawks back in January.

Thomas compiled 42 total tackles, including three tackles for loss, and 12 passes defended in his senior senior for Louisiana.
