South Louisiana Man Arrested For The 17th Time
We don't think it's a state record but we know it's one heck of a police record. Jeff Davis Parish Deputies arrested Carlton Louis Thibodeaux for the 17th time since 2005 on Monday. That means Thibodeaux has been averaging more than one arrest per year over the past few years.
Monday Thibodeaux was taken into custody in Elton.
According to the story on the JDPSO Facebook page, Thibodeaux reportedly ran from deputies as they arrived at a location on Leonard Road following a disturbance report. Thibodeaux surrendered to deputies when they threatened to release a K9 officer to "sniff him out".
For his latest crimes, Thibodeaux is facing one count of second-degree battery plus other charges. There has been no bond set at this time. Thibodeaux remains in the Jeff Davis Parish Jail.
