Southwest Flight Lands At Wrong Missouri’s Branson Airport
BRANSON, Mo. (AP) — Aviation officials are trying to figure out why a Southwest Airlines flight that was supposed to land at Missouri's Branson Airport Sunday night, landed instead at an airport about 7 miles away.
The plane, carrying 124 passengers, landed at Taney County Airport, on a runway about half the size of the intended destination.
One passenger says you could tell the pilot had to apply the brakes strongly.
