St. Landry Man Arrested In Alleged Child Rape

A St. Landry Parish man is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz says Jessie Ray Young of Morrow allegedly attacked the girl at her home after her mother left for work on Friday. Guidroz says the girl picked Young out of a photo lineup.

Young has been booked into the parish jail and will appear before a judge Tuesday. He is being charged with one count forcible rape and 1 count of unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling.
