St. Martinville Christmas Parade 2011 Rolls This Sunday
George Choplin, Knights of Columbus Christmas Parade Chairman, joined "Mornings With Ken and Bernie" today to talk about the upcoming parade in St. Martinville this Sunday, December 11th at 2 p.m.
Knights of Columbus council #1276 has been putting on this same parade for twenty years, and Choplin has been here every year to share with listeners all the details. He says this year will be a parade made up of great floats and bands along with plenty of throws.
Choplin says it is easy to participate in the parade, you simply need to be a musical group that is family friendly, have a float that is family friendly or represent a local family friend group. George's number is 337-394-9767, and he says again this year there will be three different categories for the float decoration contest.
