Barnile Lively , 54, 4113 Relius Ronsonet Road, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on June 15, 2016 at 1:01 pm on a warrant for probation violation. A correctional officer transported Lively from the Iberia Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrant. No bail is set.

Quincy Johnson , 40, 507 Labau Street, Baldwin, LA was additionally charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal damage to coin operated devices and on a warrant for felony probation violation on June 15, 2016 at 11:12 am. A correctional officer at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center received two active warrants for Johnson who was already booked into the jail on another agency’s charges. No bail is set.

Blaine Green , 25, Franklin, LA was additionally charged with simple battery on June 15, 2016 at 3:07 pm. The St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center security team conducted an investigation into an altercation involving two inmates. On June 14, 2016, a correctional officer observed Green strike another inmate during a confrontation between the two. Green remains incarcerated. No bail is set.

Mark Ruffin , 41, 2465 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 15, 2016 at 3:44 pm for speeding and no insurance. The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division K-9 unit patrolling Highway 90 in the Patterson area observed a vehicle traveling 61 miles per hour in a posted 55 miles per hour zone. The deputy also found that the vehicle was not covered by insurance. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Ruffin. Following the stop, Ruffin was released on a summons to appear in court on September 15, 2016.

Damarcus McNeal , 19, Morgan City, LA was additionally charged with simple battery on June 15, 2016 at 4:34 pm. The St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center security team conducted an investigation into a June 14, 2016 report of a possible battery. The correctional officers collected evidence that McNeal approached another inmate in a dorm and struck him in the face. McNeal remains incarcerated. No bail is set.

Rocky Sauce , 60, 805 Taft Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on June 15, 2016 at 11:59 pm for domestic abuse battery. A deputy responded to a report of a disturbance occurring inside a vehicle in the parking lot of a business in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that the driver of the vehicle and an occupant had left the area. Using a description of the vehicle and its occupants, the deputy issued a be on the lookout (BOLO) advisory to area law enforcement agencies. A short time later, the deputy was contacted by a Patterson Police officer who located the suspect vehicle at a residence on Taft Street. During the course of the investigation into the complaint, the deputy found evidence that Sauce struck a female victim in the face during an argument. The deputy transported Sauce to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Joseph Isaac , 49, 3466 Lake Palourde Road, Amelia, LA was arrested on June 16, 2016 at 1:41 am for driving under suspension. A deputy patrolling Amelia stopped to assist a motorist whose vehicle had broken down on the side of the roadway near the intersection of Duhon Boulevard and Highway 182. The deputy made contact with the driver and learned that he had another driver en route to tow the vehicle. When the second driver, identified as Isaac, arrived the deputy conducted a driver’s license check and found that Isaac was operating his vehicle with a suspended license. Isaac was released on summons to appear in court on September 15, 2016.

Shane M. Price , 22, 183 Highway 182, Morgan City, LA was arrested on June 16, 2016 at 3:24 am for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, hit and run driving, and careless operation. A deputy responded to a complaint of a hit and run incident at a residence on Teche Road in Bayou Vista. After speaking with the complainant, the deputy issued a BOLO advisory to area law enforcement agencies including a description of the vehicle. A short time later, the deputy was contacted by a Berwick Police officer who located the suspect vehicle on Parro Lane. The deputy made contact with the suspect driver, identified as Price, and smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. During the course of the investigation, the deputy found evidence that Price struck a parked vehicle causing it to hit another parked vehicle. The deputy also collected evidence that Price struck a nearby utility pole. The deputy conducted a standardized field sobriety test. Price performed poorly. He also registered a 0.131g% blood alcohol concentration on a breath test. The deputy transported Price to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
