6 names appear on the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office arrest report. Deputies say 45 complaints have been investigated over the last 24-hour report period.

Brandon L. Guidry, 31, 142 Natalie Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on June 29, 2016 at 10:56 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks. Deputies investigating a complaint in Patterson made contact with Guidry and located the active warrant for his arrest. Guidry was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was later released on a $1,500 personal surety bond.

Kylee Wilson, 19, 201 Highway 182, Morgan City, LA was arrested on June 29, 2016 at 4:31 pm for restricted license and no insurance A deputy responded to a single vehicle crash on Highway 182 and Palmer Lane in Franklin and made contact with the driver, Wilson. During the investigation, the deputy found that Wilson was violating a restriction listed on her driver's license and that she was operating the vehicle without insurance. Wilson was released on a summons to appear in court on September 15, 2016.

Everich Defils, Jr., 23, 221 Easy Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 29, 2016 at 6:08 pm on a Franklin City Court warrant for failure to appear on the charge off road vehicle on roadway. A deputy investigating a complaint in Franklin made contact with Defils and located the active warrant for his arrest. Defils was transported to the parish jail for booking. Defils was released after paying the Franklin Court fine for the offense.

Derrick G. Lovely , 39, 107 Bud Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 29, 2016 at 4:06 pm for the following offenses:
- Possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute
- Possession of Schedule IV (Xanax)
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Improper lane use
- No driver’s license
- Condition of windshield
Narcotics detectives patrolling the Verdunville area observed a vehicle with a large crack across the windshield drive onto the shoulder of the roadway while traveling behind another vehicle. Detectives conducted a traffic stop and met with the driver, who was identified as Lovely. Detectives smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. While speaking with Lovely, he admitted that he had marijuana in the center console of the vehicle. Following his arrest, detective conducting a search of Lovely’s person located Xanax pills and a slab of crack cocaine in his pocket. Detectives also found that Lovely was operating the vehicle without a driver’s license. He was transported to the parish jail for booking. Lovely was released after posting a $5,500 bond.
Thomas R. Cook , 32, 1915 River Road Lot #20 Berwick, LA was arrested on June 29, 2016 at 2:52 pm on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia and false representation of a controlled dangerous substance. Narcotics detectives located Cook at his residence on the warrant. The warrant was obtained following an investigation into possible illegal drug activity during an encounter with Cook in March. A detective located what was being portrayed by Cook as methamphetamines. Detectives identified the substance as rock salt that was crushed up to look like methamphetamine. Detectives also located a glass pipe on Cook’s person. Cook was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
Jonathan L. Diggs , 25, 163 Roy’s Lane, Centerville, LA was arrested on June 29, 2016 at 4:56 pm for improper lane usage and possession of marijuana. Narcotics detectives patrolling the Franklin area observed a vehicle cross onto the shoulder of Sterling Road and conducted a traffic stop. Detectives made contact with the driver, identified as Diggs, and learned that he had marijuana inside the vehicle. Detectives located a cigar containing marijuana commonly referred to as a blunt and a small bag of marijuana inside the car. Diggs was released on a summons to appear in court on September 15, 2016.
