The 2020 Christmas Tree-Topper Trend
Let’s talk Christmas tree toppers. Do you know what the latest trend is? I surely didn’t until today. Remember back in the day when angels or starts were at the top of the tree? A few still do that, but for the most part, those toppers are long gone. The hottest Christmas tree topper for 2020 is a bow.
According to Homes and Gardens, the bow trend started last year with celebrities. Apparently, last year the Christmas trees of the rich and famous all had bows on the top. It actually made a comeback. It used to be a thing back in the 90’s.
The bows come in many sizes and shapes. The fabric or ribbon can be a simple bow tied at the top to a large, multi-loop, lavish bow. It's actually hassel free, super-easy, lightweight, and the ribbons with wire can make it look perfect.
The retailers didn't miss a beat when it comes to the bows. You are sure to find a bow tree topper from retailers like Amazon, Sears and Wayfair. The bow tree toppers have been flying out the stores. If you can’t find one you like or are on a budget, you can easily create your own using ribbon and wire.
I am still using the sticks and big stems popping out at the top. That was the trend over the past several years. I guess this will be my last year for that. It’s time for a change anyway. Bring on the bows!
