Last week, Tony Spell, the pastor at Life Tabernacle Church in Central, Louisiana was arrested for violating the State of Louisiana's COVID laws. Spell was charged with half a dozen violations of Governor John Bel Edwards emergency laws that limit gatherings during this virus outbreak.

YAHOO is now reporting that the Life Tabernacle Church held their Sunday services once again. The report says buses were sent out once again, gathering hundreds to bring to the service. There were 26 buses sent out by the church to gather people from around the Baton Rouge area.

Joe Long, the lawyer and spokesman for Spell, told YAHOO:

"We believe the governor is wrong. And we look forward to proving our case in court"

Last week, when Spell was arrested, WAFB reported that Spell is facing six counts of violating Louisiana law. Here's more from their report:

"On Tuesday, March 31, Chief Roger Corcoran with Central Police Department issued Mark Anthony Spell, (Aka: Tony Spell), Pastor of Life Tabernacle Church in Central, a Misdemeanor Summons for six counts of violating the governor’s executive order (LA R.S. 29:724E) following his decision to host multiple large gatherings."
