The WWII D-Day Museum Tribute Tour Is February
This past Veteran's Day I had the honor of being a chaperone on Acadiana's Inaugural WWII D-Day Museum Tribute Tour, taking Acadiana-area WWII veterans to New Orleans to visit the museum.
The video above outlines what we experienced that day; the send-off, the tour, the emotions, the laughs and even some tears. All-in-all, it was a great day to show the veterans how much they are appreciated.
The next Tribute Tour is coming up in February. What we need is this:
- The names and contact information of any WWII veteran living in Acadiana
- Donations to help make the next event possible.
Our WWII veterans deserve to see this museum, so please do what you can to help! To make a donation, contact the American Legion #69 via their website or call 337-233-3296.
