It's a pretty limited schedule in the 'Belt this week.  Louisiana and App State are getting ready for their nationally televised contest next Wednesday.  Texas State and Coastal Carolina have the week off.

In the Sun Belt, it all starts tomorrow night.

THURSDAY

GEORGIA SOUTHERN (1-3, 0-1) (-10) at SOUTH ALABAMA (1-4, 0-1) 6:30pm ESPNU--The Eagles lead the all time series 5-0 and are favored to make it six straight.  Georgia Southern struggled mightily against the Louisiana running game last week and they'll face a good one in Tra Minter.  The Eagles will be in good shape if they can contain him.  South Alabama has done nothing but struggle all season and their defense has only had a few days to get ready for the Georgia Southern option attack.

SATURDAY

ARKANSAS STATE (3-2, 1-0) (-7) at GEORGIA STATE (2-2, 0-1) 2:30pm ESPN+--Arkansas State leads the all time series 5-0.  What a win for the Red Wolves last week, beating Troy with their injury-depleted roster.  Focus will be key this week as they take on Georgia State, a team that shows no semblance of the team that beat Tennessee opening weekend.  That Panthers' defense will get a big test, but the Red Wolves' defense will be as well, as Dan Ellington can make some things happen.

MEMPHIS (4-0) (-15) at ULM (2-2) 2:45pm ESPNU--Memphis leads the all time series 2-1. The good news is, ULM has a sixth home game.  But it's against a team that's undefeated and favored in the AAC West.  The Memphis offense is very very good and the Warhawks defense is going to get a real test.  Caleb Evans has played well for the Warhawks and he'll have to have a big game if the 'Hawks are going to pull the upset at home.

TROY (2-2) (+25) at MISSOURI (3-1) 3:00 pm SEC Network--Missouri leads the all time series 2-1.  Mizzou stubbed their toe in week one, losing to Wyoming but they've been awfully good since then and dominated South Carolina in their league opener.  Troy suffered a tough home loss last week against Arkansas State and they can't have a hangover if they want any chance at all to get an upset.  Troy will score points, but can their defense slow the Tigers down?
