Three New Iberia Men Arrested On Drug Charges

Three New Iberia men were arrested Thursday on charges of getting illegal prescription drugs through the mail.

Capt. Ryan Turner, Public Information Officer for the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office, says the three men had the drugs mailed to a New Iberia home. None of them actually owned the home, though, and Turner says they simply used the house as a drop-off point.

Turner says narcotics agents were able to arrest 26-year-old Raphael Depass, 29-year-old Donald Hill, Jr., and 18-year-old Jordy Mounton on several drug charges, including drug distribution and resisting police.
