Two Vermilion Men Caught In Alleged Drug Deals

Undercover police catching two men in alleged drug deals.

In the first incident, undercover drug agents catch a man selling prescription drugs on the street. Authorities say when the officer bought the pills from Therman Lyons of Gueydan, officers moved in to arrest him. His bond has been set at $40,000.

In another incident, Vermilion Parish Drug authorities say when they approached two men who were allegedly making a drug deal, the suspects began walking away from each other. Agents say they noticed one of them throwing suspected rocks of crack cocaine on the ground when they tried to question him. Quan Van Tran of Abbeville is now behind bars on a $10,000 bond.
