Today has been a busy day in Shreveport-Bossier, with two huge announcements. These two prove Shreveport-Bossier is a strange, awesome place.

In our neck of the woods, you truly never know what will come to town, and what will excite our community. We have concerts galore coming through the Ark-La-Tex, covering all genres, seemingly coming in on a weekly basis.

Today, though, we got news of not just one, but two major events coming to town, and our area seems excited about both completely polar-opposite announcements.

Today, you may have woken up to the news that music icon Cher is coming to the CenturyLink Center. The show will be on Tuesday, March 10th, 2020. Tickets will go on sale Friday, November 8th, 2019 at noon

As if that wasn't enough, shortly after that announcement, there was another of a completely different variety... President Donald Trump is also planning on coming to Shreveport-Bossier. As of today, reports say the President is eyeing a November 14th rally at the CenturyLink Center. He'll be in Monroe on Wednesday.

Two completely different announcements both major and news-worthy in their own way. God, I love Shreveport-Bossier.
