Travel Ban Extends To UK & Ireland; Domestic Restrictions Possible
In a Saturday morning press briefing, President Donald Trump says that he has been tested for the Coronavirus and is awaiting results.
This comes only a day after he declared the coronavirus pandemic to be a national emergency.
President Trump has also extended his Europe travel ban to include the UK and Ireland so that residents of those countries will not be allowed to travel here for 30 days beginning Monday.
U.S. residents and green-card holders will not be banned but will screenings at airports upon their return.
They will also have to quarantine themselves for 14 days.
Trump also says that he is considering domestic travel restrictions in certain areas.
