Two men were booked into jail Wednesday morning after a high speed chase that spanned two parishes ended in Crowley.

KATC-TV 3 reported that Calvin Beroid and Anthony Lyons were arrested--Beroid ono charges of aggravated flight, aggravated battery of a police officer, and driving under a suspended license and Lyons on a charge of obstruction of justice.

Police said the pair were throwing drugs out of the car during the chase.

The two men were taken away by deputies of the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office, but they face charges in both Acadia and Jefferson Davis parishes.
