Duson Police Chief Kip Judice says that there were alerted that a chase by Acadia Sheriff's deputies would be moving into their area on I-10 between Rane to Duson.

The suspect got off the interstate at the Duson exit, went to Mire, then turned around, and the suspect drove back to Duson.

The chase ended when the suspect stopped in the back yard of house that is located on Harlow Street.

The juvenile was booked into the detention center in Lafayette Parish, and Judice says he will face many charges.

In the second situation this morning, the suspect was being pursued down highway 90 from Estherwood where they were fleeing a bunch of traffic violations.

Police arrested the driver, 68-year-old Rodney Lee Carter, and 43-year-old Corey Joseph White.

These two men from Georgia were also found with a small amount of drugs.

Judice says apparently Carter took his mom's medicine; she just had hip surgery.

Both men are facing several charges.

Thankfully, no one was hurt as a result of these chases.
