Louisiana Ragin' Cajun head coach Tony Robichaux continues his recovery process.

Robichaux, who underwent a successful medical procedure on Monday, following a heart attack that hospitalized him late Sunday night, will visit Oschner Health Center in New Orleans to initiate the advancement of his recovery.

UL Director of Athletics Dr. Bryan Maggard sent out the following statement on Friday morning:

Coach Robichaux and his family continue to do everything necessary for his full recovery. I know they are extremely grateful for all the support they are receiving from our community and friends afar.

Robichaux, who is expected to make a full and complete recovery, completed his 25th season at Louisiana in 2019.

In 31 years as a collegiate head coach, Robichaux has compiled an all-time record of 1,177-767.

Our thoughts and prayers are with coach Robichaux, and his family, as we wish him a speedy recovery.
