The University of Louisiana at Lafayette to Close Campus Ahead of Arctic Weather

UL's campus will be closed on Tuesday, January 21st, and Wednesday, January 22, due to the anticipation of unsafe driving conditions caused by freezing temperatures.

The University announced that they will transition to remote instruction and operations on both Tuesday and Wednesday.

"Students who are unable to participate in classes remotely should contact their professors. If a student needs further assistance, they can contact the Office of the Dean of Students at deanofstudents@louisiana.edu.'

The same goes for all faculty and staff who are unable to work remotely, the university asks that they contact their supervisors.

Students who live on campus will receive additional information via email about dining and other campus services.

University-Sponsored Events

All university-sponsored events that were scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday will be postponed.

As of now, UL plans to reopen campus on Thursday, January 23.
