Residents of Vermilion Parish and the City of Carencro will be able to get rid of unwanted household items this Saturday as each is holding a respective Hazardous Waste Collection Day.

The City of Carencro is hosting its Household Hazardous Waste Day this Saturday, November 21 at the Carencro Community Center from 8:00 am until noon.

A list of accepted items is listed on the flyer below.

A reminder that you must be a resident of the City of Carencro. A driver's license or a copy of a recent Carencro utility bill will be needed to show proof of residency.

The Household Hazard Waste Collection Day, sponsored by the Vermilion Parish Police Jury, will also take place this Saturday, November 21 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Vermilion Parish Solid Waste Plant.

Again, residents will need to bring identification showing residency in the parish.
