Acadiana Symphony Orchestra Announces Its 36th Season
In announcing its 36th season, we received a message from Dana Baker, Executive Director of the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra:
Through what now is known as ‘these unprecedented times’, the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra has been working meticulously to create a season that embodies hope for our Acadiana community.
I’ve read a ton of Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) articles as of late and I think he’s pinpointed some things that resonate so deeply for me both personally and professionally. Dave says there’s nothing quite like the tangible, communal power of live music. Boy, is he right! And, it’s something that ASO, along with Festivals Acadiens et Creole, Acadiana Center for the Arts (formerly Acadiana Arts Council), and Festival International de Louisiane, were literally created to do at a time when our neighbors needed it most.
At a time when so much is uncertain, one thing is: it's time for Acadiana to come together. - Dana Baker, Executive Director
Dana Baker, I agree! It's time for us to reach out to our neighbors to make certain they are okay; to check on our family members and the elderly in our community; it's time to come together and get Acadiana moving again; it's time to REVIVE!
The 36th Season of the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra takes us through the steps that need to be laid out for our journey to revival, with concerts being held in different venues, including some in which many find peace, love, brotherhood, faith, and inspiration.
Season Tickets are being sold now, and they come in packages you can customize starting at just $155. The VIP package gets you perks including VIP Season Parking, a reception prior to each show, priority seating, and other exclusive benefits.
