Accused Burglars Arrested Near Robbed Home

30-year-old Joshua Babineaux of Scott and 29-year-old Desmond Dural and Barshiri Celestine, both of Lafayette, have been arrested for allegedly burglarizing an Arnaudville home in the 1600 block of Main Highway.

Major Ginny Higgins with the St. Martin Sheriff's Office says Babineaux and Dural were arrested in a nearby driveway, not long after the alleged burglary. Celestine was arrested not long after by Louisiana State Police, who were assisting.

They each sit in the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center with no bond and face the following charges:

• 1 ct. Theft of a firearm LA. R.S. 14:67.15
