Available Sandbags Throughout Acadiana

As the storms fall, government officials throughout several parts of Acadiana want you to know that sandbags are available to you (if you can retrieve them safely):

LAFAYETTE PARISH (Sefl-bagging)

• 400 N. Dugas Road in Lafayette/Carencro area: North District sandbagging location at the compost facility (located off North University Avenue)
• 1017 Fortune Road in Youngsville: South District sandbagging location
• City Maintenance facility on Lions Club Road in Scott. Begins at 1:00 PM today. Limit 3 sandbags per door.
