Big Freedia Is Getting Her Own Ben & Jerry's Flavor

What does bounce music taste like?

For a limited time, you will be able to enjoy the first bounce-inspired ice cream flavor after Ben & Jerry's announced a really cool partnership with the Queen of Bounce, Big Freedia. The New Orleans-born artist posted the following photo back in early February, but not many people took it seriously.

Now a press release from Ben & Jerry's reveals that Freedia's flavor is actually happening!

Ben & Jerry’s is teaming up with the Queen of Bounce, Big Freedia for a day of music, food, and of course FREE ice cream, at Republic NOLA. We will be announcing a new partnership together that will be benefiting local non-profits, and did we mention it will be sweet? 100% of the proceeds will benefit No Kid Hungry LA, Liberty’s Kitchen, and Upturn Arts.
