Bill Withers Has Died at the Age of 81
According to The Associated Press, Bill Withers has died in Los Angeles from heart complications on Monday, March 30. He was 81 years old. The legendary singer-songwriter's hits, “Ain’t No Sunshine”, “Lean on Me”, and “Lovely Day” will be remembered forever.
In 2015, Bill Withers was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
The three-time Grammy Award winner’s hit, “Lean on Me” recently gained a lot of exposure as it’s been an inspiration for healthcare workers during the coronavirus pandemic.
