Boredom Leads To Fake Bomb Threat

A 13-year-old juvenile is currently sitting in the Lake Charles Juvenile Detention Center after calling in a bomb threat to a local Dollar General store.

Around 11:30 in the morning, the police responded to the threat after an employee got the call from the girl.

The store was evacuated immediately and searched. After the long search, no bomb turned up and police traced the call back to the teen.

When police questioned the girl, who cannot be named due to being a juvenile, she stated that she placed the bomb threat because, "she was bored."
