Crowley Race Way Owner Jailed For Selling Illegal Drugs

The owner of a Race Way in Crowley is behind bars after police executed a search warrant on the business. Chief K.P. Gibson says the warrant was obtained following a six month investigation, during which narcotics agents were able to buy Mephedrone from the owner, Walter Jamal Jacoub. Jacoub was arrested on charges of distribution of several drugs, including mephedrone, methedrone, and synthetic marijuana. He is now in the Acadia Parish Jail.
